There’s something about wire that can feel… a little rebellious.
You start with a plan… and suddenly the wire has its own ideas 😄
But here’s the good news:It doesn’t have to be complicated to be beautiful.
In this tutorial, I’m walking you through 5 beginner-friendly copper wire pendants that are simple, stylish, and actually doable—no frustration required.
These are the kinds of projects that help you build confidence fast… and maybe even fall a little in love with wire along the way.
🛠 Materials You’ll Need
Nothing fancy here—just the basics:
Copper wire (10, 12, 16, or 22 gauge all work great)

🌿 Project 1: The Classic Spiral
Start simple.
Take your wire and create a loose spiral at the bottom.Don’t overthink it—this is where you get a feel for how the wire moves.
👉 Tip:If it’s a little uneven, leave it. That’s where the charm lives.
Add a loop at the top, and you’ve already made your first pendant.
🌿 Project 2: The Framed Stone
Now we give your bead or stone a cozy little home.
Create a circular frame with thicker wire, then use a thinner wire to wrap and secure your stone inside.
Think of it as:secure… not suffocating
You want it held in place—but still visible and beautiful.
🌿 Project 3: The Drop Pendant
This one looks fancy… but it’s surprisingly simple.
Create a swirl at the top, then attach a bead or stone at the bottom using a wrapped loop.
It instantly gives that “store-bought” look—without the store.
🌿 Project 4: The Freeform Wrap
This is where things get fun.
Take your wire and let it move naturally around your bead or stone. Add curves, small wraps, and little details as you go.
No strict rules here.
👉 If you catch yourself thinking,“Is this right?”You’re doing it perfectly.
🌿 Project 5: The Statement Wrap
For this one, use a larger stone.
Wrap the wire around it in a way that feels secure, then add a simple swirl or anchor at the bottom.
This creates a bold, organic look that feels a little more advanced—but still beginner-friendly.
💡 What You’ll Notice
By the time you finish these, something shifts.
You stop fighting the wire…and start working with it.
And that’s when your pieces start to feel more natural, more confident, and more “you.”
